Description
SUMMARY:
At CEO’s direction: review, analyze and evaluate performance or opportunities in new or current businesses, and departments. Document and track department scope and objectives and report same to CEO for review and approval. Assist HR in ensuring that company policies and procedures are followed, and mission and values adhered to. Requires a bachelor or higher degree in a business and or engineering related discipline, and 5-7 years of work experience. Ideal candidate will be an Engineer with an MBA. Intermediate and above knowledge with Microsoft office products, including Microsoft teams, and cloud server concepts are helpful. Must have history of relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide CEO with a summary and critique of weekly department and supervision reports
- Prepare CEO meeting agendas, meeting summaries, and monitor action items
- At CEO’s direction perform reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- At CEO’s direction conduct analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Assist HR in maintaining staff confidence, and productivity
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering and an MBA or equivalent work experience
- Advanced level Microsoft suite practitioner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational
- Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
- Microsoft Access strongly preferred
- Rebate experience preferred
- Wind turbine farm or solar experience preferred
- China educational and occupational experience preferred
- Mandarin or Cantonese proficiency preferred
- China import export experience preferred
COMPENSATION:
- Market Rate DOE
- Bonus eligible
